Sister Wives viewers see Kody Brown doing some good for the masses when dubbing his latest farce a public service message as it buzzes online from the TLC series.
Fans watched Kody’s lumberjack talents play out like a warning of what not to do when cutting down a tree. The audience thought he did a good job demonstrating how things could go wrong when someone doesn’t know what they are doing. But that’s not how Kody saw it.

Sister Wives fans watch Kody Brown and his fragmented family in a different format on the screen these days. Every episode has several segments for the four homes belonging to the once-polygamous celebrities. We no longer see them together.
Gone are the days when Meri Brown stops in to see Robyn Brown or Kody trot through the backyard from one house to another. It now seems rare to see any two of the once-spouses together from the defunct polygamous marriage. That is, except for Kody and Robyn.
Speaking of Robyn, she stood by and watched Kody go at a tree. The Sister Wives patriarch did this with the pride of a professional. But, for the viewers, he might have acted as proud as a peacock when the tree finally made it to the ground, but fans say it looked far from a professional job.
Kody Brown’s Lumberjack Days Numbered?
Sister Wives fans hopped online to share their horror of watching what they deem a dangerous tree-cutting job. Fans thought just about everything he did raised red flags of danger. Some viewers watched in fear, as Kody used those wedges while the chainsaw was still revved up and cutting.
Kody couldn’t get that tree to fall and when it finally did, it was just luck that no one was hurt. Robyn confessed that he cut down a tree in a previous event and that one landed on the house. So, she knows his tree-downing tactics come with flaws. Yet she still hung around way too close for the fans’ comfort.
Sister Wives: Kody Cut 1000 Trees – Yeah, Sure, Say the Fans
Kody Brown let the Sister Wives audience know he is far from a novice at cutting down trees. The man with the ringlets bragged about how he cut down over 1,000 trees in his lifetime. As you can see in the comments above, fans didn’t buy it. But his comment lit up social media.
Kody swung that chainsaw around, seemingly without caution. Then he pounded the wedge around the chainsaw, which got stuck in the tree while still running. So, this scene alone looked like an accident ready to happen. But when the chainsaw fell and bounced back toward him, it looked like he was doomed.
Many fans thought this tree-cutting segment was nothing more than a filler, something to take up the time allotted by the show. While Sister Wives fans were happy for Christine, they became saturated with her wedding scenes. So, they couldn’t stretch that out for much longer on the screen.
Meri Brown cutting the quilt into pieces that she made for Kody was another scene that also smelled like a filler for fans. Janelle Brown was in her best friend mode, by singing praises of Christine and David Woolley’s marriage. Viewers suggested these scenes seemed plugged in to fill-in the time of their 60-minute time slot.
So, there you have it, what started as Kody Brown swinging his chainsaw around to show how handy he is, failed. Instead, it played out like a public service message from TLC about what not to do when cutting down trees.
