Taylor Swift and Donna Kelce sent a warning message to Travis Kelce ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl.
“I owe New Orleans a little something,” Travis, 35, said on the field after the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win on Sunday, January 26, per fan footage. Donna, 72, replied, “Yes, you do.”
Swift, also 35, looked up at her boyfriend as she seemingly made a comment about Travis staying away from a famed street in New Orleans known for its bars and clubs. “Not going to Bourbon Street,” Swift appeared to say to Travis.
Donna agreed with Travis’ girlfriend, adding, “We know your history.” The Chiefs tight end joked that he “won’t be having as much fun.”

Donna seemed to be referencing Travis’ participation in the 2010 Sugar Bowl. He was supposed to play in the game with the University of Cincinnati, but he failed a marijuana test and missed the matchup. He was also suspended for the entire 2010 season and lost his scholarship.
Travis and the Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9, at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. The Chiefs are vying for their third consecutive Super Bowl win, hoping to make history as the first NFL team to achieve the feat. (The Chiefs won back-to-back Super Bowls in 2023 and 2024.)
Following the Chiefs’ win against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Swift took to the field to congratulate Travis on his win and shower him with hugs and a kiss. While walking around, Travis ran into legendary Chiefs lineman Bobby Bell, who played for the team from 1963 to 1974.
“Congratulations,” Bell, 84, told Travis, who brought Swift over to meet him. In a video shared via social media, Travis told Swift, “This is Bobby Bell, one of the greatest to ever play the game.” The Eras Tour performer replied, “Hi! So nice to meet you, I’m Taylor.”

After the group posed for a photo, Travis had a sweet message for Bell. “You know we’re just following your footsteps, big dog,” he said.
Amid speculation that Travis could be nearing retirement, the tight end credited Swift with keeping his love for the game alive.
“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” he said on “The Stephen A. Smith Show” on January 15. “She loves coming to Arrowhead [Stadium] and coming to the games and cheering for me, so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”
Travis, who began dating Swift in summer 2023, gushed over her support. “I think, personally, the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you,” he said.
