Kelly Stafford has some choice words about the Kansas City Chiefs and their three consecutive Super Bowl appearances.

“Obviously, the AFC and NFC championship games have just concluded, and we all know who has won those now,” Kelly, 35, said during the Tuesday, January 28 episode of her “The Morning After” podcast. “I was right on half my prediction, but unfortunately, I was wrong about the Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.”

The Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills 32-29 on Sunday, January 26, and advanced to the 2025 Super Bowl. They will take on the Philadelphia Eagles, who beat the Washington Commanders 55-23 on Sunday, for a shot at making NFL history as the first franchise to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles.

“Kansas City — like the rest of the country — I feel like I was ready for someone new,” Kelly continued. “It has no slight against any of the players. We’re just f—ing tired of seeing them win. But I love Andy Reid. He’s just one of the good ones. I’ve just always respected him as a coach.”

She recalled Reid giving “chances” to her brother, Chad Hall, both on and off the field. “That’s the only reason, to be honest, I’m OK with Kansas City going on,” Kelly added.

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Kelly noted that she’s “really sad” for Bills quarterback Josh Allen and punter Sam Martin following the team’s loss. (Martin, 34, previously played on the Detroit Lions alongside Kelly’s husband, Matt Stafford.)

“Can’t forget about Sam. He’s the one I really know personally. Josh, we are acquaintances,” she explained. “Matthew obviously knows him, but I’ve spent a lot of time with Sam over the years. So, I’m sad for Sam too.”

When discussing Allen, 28, specifically, Kelly said that there is “respect” value between him and Matt, 36.

Brittany, 29, took to social media to celebrate after her husband, Patrick Mahomes, and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 26, to earn their place in the 2025 Super Bowl. “Thank you all […]

“They’re similar players in a way. Matthew is just way older,” she continued. “I don’t know. I’ve always enjoyed the way he carries himself, and he’s a professional in all the things you’d want your base of the organization to be.”

Kelly also said that she’s rooting for the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

“Go Birds,” she said. “It literally has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that we got to give someone else a chance. A turn.”
