Mecole Hardman Jr. is part of the Kansas City Chiefs football dynasty — and his fiancée Chariah Gordon has been by his side almost every step of the way.
Hardman Jr., who plays wide receiver, won his first Super Bowl with the Chiefs in February 2020. The following year, the Chiefs lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.
While Hardman didn’t take home the trophy that year, he did find The One with Gordon, whom he began dating in fall 2021.
When the Chiefs headed back to the Super Bowl in February 2023 — and they beat the Philadelphia Eagles — Hardman and Gordon had a lot to celebrate. As the Chiefs took the field that day, Gordon welcomed the couple’s first baby.

In 2024, Hardman won his third Super Bowl with the Chiefs, got engaged and welcomed baby No. 2 with Gordan and they are only getting started.

October 2021
Gordon hinted at her romance with Hardman by posting a photo all dressed up for a Chiefs game on social media. “It’s giving THAT GIRL! 🥰,” she captioned the snaps.
Two months later, Gordon shared another series of Instagram photos at the Chiefs’ game. This time, she showed off a custom “Hardman Jr.” sweatshirt, seemingly confirming their relationship.
February 2022
The twosome went Instagram official on Valentine’s Day after spending the romantic holiday together. The NFL player shared his first photo with Gordon later that month via Instagram. “Bonnie and Clyde! I got my ride or die ✌🏾❤️,” he captioned the snap.
October 2022
Just a few weeks after Gordon posted photos of herself on the field with Hardman, the couple announced they were expecting their first baby.
“Planned & created life with my best friend, our rainbow baby is on the way & we couldn’t be more blessed & excited!!” Gordon wrote via Instagram, revealing that she previously suffered a pregnancy loss. “The Hardman’s are expanding by 1 💚 @mecolehardman4 this a forever thing🤞🏾.”
February 2023
Prior to Super Bowl LVII, the Chiefs announced that Hardman would not be playing in the game due to a pelvic injury. Before kickoff, Hardman revealed via X that Gordon was in labor. The couple welcomed their first baby, son Mecole Hardman III, that day and ended up watching the Chiefs beat the Eagles from the hospital.
“Welcoming our healthy baby boy together in this world while watching the Chiefs win the Super Bowl!! Could not be any Happier!” the athlete wrote via Instagram on February 14. “A father and now a 2x Super Bowl Champ! Thanks to everyone for the prayers and support.”
April 2023
The newly-minted family of three started their new chapter with a new pad. “Living in multiple answered prayer’s ❤️… Just closed on our new penthouse!” Gordon announced via social media, sharing photos of the new space.
November 2023
Gordon revealed via Instagram that she and Hardman were expecting their second baby, a little girl.
May 2024
While celebrating Mother’s Day, Gordon confirmed that the couple’s daughter, Ci, had arrived earlier that spring.

Gordon couldn’t contain her excitement over taking her two kids to see their dad play for the first time at Arrowhead Stadium. Ci wore a big yellow bow for the occasion with a “Hardman 17” custom onesie and jeans. Mecole rocked a red custom “Hardman 17” sweatshirt and jeans as he hung out in a VIP suite.
