Fan favorite interviewer, Sukanya Krishnan, questioned the members of the Brown’s defunct marriage for this Tell-All format. She looked stunned at Kody’s quick refusal to continue.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown took great pride in his religious beliefs. And, some of them have to do with the rules of intimacy with his wives, before and during marriage, especially when courting.
Kody preached to his children that they needed to save themselves for marriage. Back during this time, his then-four wives hung on every word he said. He prided himself on following these rules to the core.

But, during this interview with Sukanya, he became flustered and refused to answer a personal question. When she asked him on the Sister Wives mid-season finale if he had intimate relations before marriage, he shut down the interview.
Kody Acts As If No One Knows…
Years back on Sister Wives, Kody Brown sat and listened to Robyn Brown, who gave a sermon on purity to the entire family. It was mainly aimed at the older kids, but even the youngsters listened in. She stressed the importance of waiting for marriage before doing the deed. She didn’t, and she acted as if she shamed herself.
Robyn’s sermon caught quite the backlash, as she said she was coaxed into intimate relations before marriage. She then married the man, her first husband. But her main sadness is, that she wished she waited for Kody Brown to be her first intimate partner.
But, there sat her three kids from her first husband, listening to what their mother was saying. Fans thought that was just awful.
So, maybe Kody felt the need to come clean because, in Sister Wives Season 19, he did. He revealed that during college he did the deed with a girl he met. He felt guilt and shame, but he did it, indicating Meri Brown was not his first.
So, fans already know that Kody Brown succumbed to temptation in college. But why act like it is suddenly a big secret with his refusal to go there with the interviewer?

When Kody Brown first confessed to the Sister Wives fans about his college fling he acted as proud as a peacock for a few minutes. Talking like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar, Kody said, “I had a lover in college. It was a little tryst. I was a naughty boy, based on my faith.”
Then that naughty boy changed his tune. Kody said, “It was devastating to me, it was heartbreaking,” he continued. “When purity is everything in the church I was in, that was everything. It’s like you’re working your way back for it.”
The Sister Wives patriarch felt so ashamed that he reported telling only two of his wives, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown. That is because he trusted them. Kody said he never shared this with Janelle Brown and Christine Brown because he didn’t trust them like the other two.
So, when Sukanya Krishnan asked him about intimate relationships before marriage, he acted indignant that she should go there. Since the Sister Wives fans already knew this, maybe his reaction suggests he is still rattled by this today. Although, the TLC fans had a hard time buying that a guy with four wives would be so upset over doing what many college kids do.
