Southern Charm Preview: Craig Conover Reveals He Bought Paige a Ring

Craig Conover dropped a bombshell about his previous relationship with Paige DeSorbo — and their apparent engagement plans — in the latest Southern Charm preview.

“I’m gonna propose,” Craig, 35, says in Bravo’s sneak peek at what’s “still to come” this season on Southern Charm, which aired after the conclusion of the Thursday, February 6, episode.

After Craig’s surprising declaration, ominous music plays in the background, seemingly hinting that his plans wouldn’t come to fruition and the fallout would be covered on the show.

Shep Rose and Austen Kroll appear to be talking about Craig and Paige’s split in the preview, with Austen, claiming, “There were cracks” in the relationship.

Shep, for his part, tells Austen, 37, that “it doesn’t sound like [Craig] was driving this bus.”

Craig eventually meets up with the guys and reveals that his proposal plans weren’t one sided like they might’ve thought. “She asked me to buy her a ring and, like, I did,” he claims, which catches Shep, 42, and Austen off guard.

Craig proceeds to talk about what is seemingly the end of his and Paige’s relationship as the cameras roll. “It was just, like, over,” he tells his friends.

Jordan Strauss/Bravo On the newest episode of Southern Charm, Craig Conover confessed his desire to become a father made him think about breaking up with Paige DeSorbo. “I’m sitting around waiting for her to decide if she’ll be ready to move in together,” Craig, 34, told pal Rodrigo Reyes on the Thursday, November 9, episode […]

The Sewing Down South founder then confesses, “It’s weird to mourn someone who’s still alive,” seemingly referring to his ex Paige, 32.

Craig’s comments insinuate that the Bravo cameras might’ve been filming — or resumed shooting — when Paige broke up with Craig in November 2024. (She didn’t publicly announce the split until a month later on her “Giggly Squad” podcast.)

Throughout season 10 of Southern Charm, which premiered in December 2024, viewers have witnessed the months leading up to Craig and Paige’s breakup.

In fact, during Thursday’s episode fans saw the cracks begin to show in their relationship when Craig and Paige butted heads over their future plans during a trip to a bee farm.

“This is my fantasy: Paige and I would get chickens and have a baby,” Craig said during a confessional. “Maybe I grill us some hot dogs for lunch, check on our bees. It would be our own little sanctuary.”

But when he asked Paige whether she wanted to live on a farm, she shut him down. “Sometimes I do fall into that fantasyland of being like, ‘Oh, wow, we could have a farm and a bunch of kids,’” Craig told his then-girlfriend.

Paige revealed that she felt the same way at times. “I love making up fake scenarios in my head. I just have a little more of a realistic bone in my body than you do,” she said.

Their conversation took a turn when Craig said he hoped the Summer House star didn’t feel “any pressure” from him to get married and start a family.

Paige explained that she just wants to be “allotted what you’ve been allotted,” noting that when Craig was her age no one told him it was time to have kids.

“F— yeah it’s my decision because I’m the one that holds it in my f—ing body,” Paige told Craig, revealing, “If you said to me right now, ‘We need to have a baby or I’m leaving.’ You’d have to leave.”

She apologized for “getting heated” and Craig tried to reassure her that there was “nothing” he’d change about where they were at in their relationship.

Elsewhere in the episode, Craig told his friends that he’s never thought about giving Paige an “ultimatum” because he likes “what we’re doing.”

He claimed during the group’s annual guys’ dinner at Patricia Altschul’s house, “I’m gonna propose soon. Soon as in by the end of the year.”

Craig revealed that he had already shown Paige “a sheet of rings and told her to pick her favorite.” He told Patricia, 83, that Paige “pickled an emerald cut and elongated cushion” as a potential engagement ring option.
