Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has made it clear that she no longer cares about Kenyan politics.
The outspoken beauty mogul shared her sentiments during a Q&A session on Instagram on Sunday, February 9, 2025, when a fan asked who she thought would be Kenya’s next president.
“Honestly I do not care about Kenyan politricks anymore,” Huddah responded.

Huddah has previously been actively involved in political discussions often giving opinions on her social media.
Huddah had been a vocal supporter of President William Ruto until 2024 when she changed her stance and became one of his fiercest critics.
Son of a poor man
In November 2024 the Rich Beauty CEO advised her followers to be cautious about electing leaders from poor backgrounds. She argued that such leaders often struggle with governance unless they have prior experience managing successful businesses.
“Now you know, never give power to the son of a poor man! Unless he has built successful businesses. They wouldn’t know what to do with it,” Huddah stated on her Instagram stories.

She also expressed regret over her previous support for President Ruto, admitting she had backed the wrong candidate.
“I placed the wrong bet. I was one of those people who shamelessly advocated for ‘Must Go’,” she reflected.
Love for Ruto
As far back as 2017, she voiced her belief that Ruto would be an effective leader for Kenya.
“I’d rather have a Ruto presidency. The man doesn’t play these cat-and-mouse games. We wouldn’t be in this position in a Moi era. Sometimes a dictator is best,” she emphasized.
Her support for Ruto even came with criticism of the opposition’s rallying vision of reaching “Canaan,” hinting it was an unrealistic ambition.
“Seems we will be swiped dead by the sea before we cross over to Canaan. I wish the Canaanite’s leader was Abduba Dida. Chances would be high. Lakini no hope,” she noted.
When Ruto won in the 2022 presidential election, Huddah was among the first to celebrate, sharing numerous images of the 57-year-old leader on her Instagram stories, where she labelled him as “my president.”
She expressed a renewed sense of national pride.
“I am proud to be a Kenyan from today. Africa deserves strong, sober, young leaders. Kenya has made a change for Africa. I will carry my flag and passport with pride from today. I am from Kenya, the greatest country in Africa!” she stated.
