Jesse McCartney will soon have another “beautiful soul” in his life because his wife, Katie McCartney, is pregnant with their first baby.
“Our lil Valentine 🌹🧸 arriving 8/8,” Jesse, 37, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 14. “Xo, JK.”
In adorable Valentine’s-themed maternity photos, Jesse and his wife, also 37, wore custom pajamas that were monogrammed with “mom” or “dad” on the lapel, respectively, while posing next to ultrasound photos and a display of red roses.
Sharing the post on his Instagram Story, Jesse called the milestone a “new chapter.”

“So much love and thanks to @annasokol for capturing our first photos of us as soon-to-be parents,” Jesse added. “These pictures will forever be cherished.”
Katie also shared the images via her Instagram Stories with the simple caption, “Mom and Dad,” before praising her husband’s other Valentine’s Day surprises.
“Feeling extra spoiled today,” she wrote. “Love you so much @jessemccartney.”
In Katie’s pic, she enjoyed a stack of pancakes in front of a vase full of pink roses. The bouquet featured a card that was addressed to “My Valentine.”
Jesse and Katie tied the knot in October 2021 after nine years together.
“Katie’s wonderful,” the singer exclusively told Us Weekly of married life in November 2024. “This last year, it was hard for her. I was traveling so much [on tour]. She actually came out quite a bit, but needless to say, we didn’t get much of an anniversary [celebration].”

He added, “I was on the road [and] I think we celebrated, literally, in a hotel room with Domino’s and a bottle of cheap red wine. So, at some point, I’m going to have to make sure I follow through on our three-year and take her someplace.”
In addition to celebrating their anniversary, Jesse and Katie have also been hopeful that expanding their family would “be the next chapter” in their romance.
“We had had a conversation about starting a family, and it’s, like, the things that you have to do in order to actually get the timing right on that kind of thing is not always the sexiest,” Jesse previously told Us in April 2024. “You have to perform at weird hours of the day sometimes.”
At the time, Jesse said that the couple was focused on “enjoying [their] newlywed life and taking it [one] step at the time.”
“I think we’ll be good and we’re a good team,” he concluded. “Katie will be a great mom one day, so it’ll be good.”
