Denise Richards’ new reality show will include plenty of surprises — including an appearance from her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen.
“Nobody has ever seen Charlie and I after our divorce sitting in a room talking,” Richards, 54, revealed on the Tuesday, February 18, episode of Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast. “I think that’s one of the things that I love that we were able to capture was us having that moment of sharing that.”
Sheen, 59, and Richards were married for three years before filing for divorce in 2005. The couple share daughters Sami, 20, and Lola, 19.
In the new reality show, titled Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, Richards will share a look inside her current life with her husband, Aaron Phypers, and her kids. (The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also welcomed her daughter Eloise, 13, via adoption after her birth in May 2011.)
In her latest interview, Richards assured fans that her reunion with Sheen isn’t exactly dramatic. Instead, they’ve worked on having a healthy coparenting relationship.
“We still joke around with each other and we can have a sense of humor about all the s— we went through,” she joked to host Alex Baskin. “It’s so bad that we have to laugh.”
Baskin added that the scene is “riveting” to watch.

While Richards acknowledged that some people would question how she still gets along so well with Sheen, the reality star reminded people that the media only presents one side of the story.
“The thing is people have seen in the tabloids over the years obviously all the turmoil and then people would hear we went on vacation with the girls together or we were having dinner or stuff like that,” Richards explained. “It was always to keep a family unit when we could for the girls.”
Previously, Richards opened up about her decision to sign up for more reality TV nearly 15 years after she filmed an E! series titled Denise Richards: It’s Complicated.
“There were conversations with my older daughters because I wanted to make sure that that was something that they wanted to do because they didn’t have to be part of it,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2024. “It was a process, but they were on board.”
“I’m not perfect and they will see I make mistakes,” Richards continued. “Our family is not perfect by any means, but hopefully they can relate to some things that our family goes through too.”
Denise Richards and Her Wild Things premieres on Bravo Tuesday, March 4, following a new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
