Social media sensation Bradley Marongo, popularly known as Gen Z Goliath, has thrilled his fans with an update, announcing that his all-expenses-paid Dubai escapade has come to an abrupt end and that he is now en route to Kenya.
In a video shared on his TikTok page on Monday, February 24, 2025, Bradley could hardly contain his excitement as he reflected on the lavish lifestyle he had been enjoying in the Middle Eastern paradise.
He marvelled at the grandeur of his send-off, revealing that a sleek Mercedes G-Waggon had arrived to chauffeur him to the airport, capping off his extravagant stay.
Speaking in Swahili, the content creator addressed his Kenyan followers while an Arab chauffeur meticulously packed his luggage into the luxury SUV as he remained in full content-creation mode, recording every moment for his loyal audience.
“Wakenya wenzangu, narudi nyumbani. Back at home. Narudi Kenya mwanangu na nimekujiwa na G-Waggon na kijana mwenye hana maneno. Kijana mdogo. Mningoje huko. Nacome. Like five hours nitakuwa huko,” he said.
In the caption of the video, Bradley reiterated his deep connection to Kenya, affectionately calling it his motherland and emphasizing that it would only be a matter of moments before he landed.
“Motherland, see you in a few,” he wrote.

Living large
Bradley’s departure marks the end of a whirlwind stay in Dubai, a trip that, according to his best friend, YouTuber 2mbili, began in January 2025.
From the moment he set foot in the opulent city, he seemed to be eating life with a big spoon, frequently sharing glimpses of his high-end escapades across his social media platforms.
One of the standout moments of his trip was when he received a staggering Ksh200,000 iPhone 15 from the renowned Dubai-based electronics moguls, the Zam Zam brothers.
Beaming with excitement, he flaunted the extravagant gift in a video shared on his Facebook page on Friday, February 7, 2025.
The gesture appeared to be a strategic move by his hosts, seemingly aimed at persuading him to prolong his stay after he had hinted at a possible return to Kenya.
Bradley had previously playfully voiced his disappointment over not receiving an iPhone despite the brothers gifting numerous other influencers.
“Hey, Mr Zam Zam, I want to go back to Kenya,” Bradley declared.
“Why, bro? Do you want to go back to Kenya?” his host enquired.
“You’ve been gifting people iPhones, yet I haven’t received any!” Bradley retorted.
“Really? I didn’t give you a phone. No, bro, sorry, I forgot. But why are you worried? This Zam Zam shop is your shop. Here, take this iPhone 15 Pro Max. Please don’t go back to Kenya,” the businessman reassured him, casually plucking the device off the shelves.
Controversial adventure
Shortly after 2mbili confirmed that Bradley had left Kenya, speculation ran wild, with some questioning whether he had actually travelled or if it was just an elaborate stunt.
However, once he began flooding his socials with videos from Dubai, the doubts were quickly put to rest.
The young creator, who rose to fame during the Gen Z-led anti-finance bill protests, continued to enjoy his stay, engaging in content creation and landing advertising gigs.
But it wasn’t until a particular video surfaced—one that saw him crawling on the floor of a lavish mansion as a lioness prowled around him—that he found himself at the centre of heated debate.
The viral clip depicted him mimicking the lioness’s movements as the big cat made calculated, almost predatory advances towards him, while his Arab hosts stood by watching.
The video immediately sparked outrage online, with critics slamming it as degrading, arguing that Bradley was being exploited. Some even speculated that he might be in real danger.
However, Bradley wasted no time in shutting down the controversy, issuing a strongly worded response to silence his critics.
He dismissed the claims of exploitation, asserting that the video was purely for entertainment and that he had participated voluntarily.
“I want to make it clear that there was nothing harmful or degrading about what I did. It was just me having fun and creating content. The Zam Zam brothers have been nothing but kind to me since I arrived in Dubai. I know some people are calling this ‘modern slavery,’ but that’s completely false. If you check their pages, you’ll see they’ve done similar content with other creators, and no one has ever been harmed,” he stated.
