The ongoing public feud between businessman Jamal Rohosafi and his ex-wife Amber Ray’s current partner, Kennedy Rapudo, has taken a fresh twist, with Mumias East MP Peter Salasya weighing in.
According to Salasya, the root cause of the conflict is none other than socialite Amber Ray herself.
In a candid Instagram post, the outspoken lawmaker asserted that jealousy was fueling the ongoing spat between the two men.
Salasya speculated that Rapudo, feeling threatened by Amber Ray’s past with Jamal, was making efforts to assert dominance over his relationship.
“@iam_amberay ndio ameleta haya maneno yote ama … the former akikumbuka style deadly deadly za Amber and the current thinks how she does better anasema I must demarcate my territory. The power of a woman in a man is so powerful, and men are jealous in nature,” Salasya posted.
Genesis of the feud
The tensions escalated when Kennedy Rapudo publicly criticized Jamal Rohosafi for his inability to manage the tumultuous relationship between his two ex-wives, Amira and Amber Ray.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Dr Ofweneke, Rapudo accused Jamal of failing to control the situation at home, leading to multiple public confrontations between the two women.
“As a man, Jamal should have ensured peace within his household rather than letting it turn into a public spectacle,” Rapudo remarked.
Amber Ray and Amira, Jamal’s former wives, were involved in highly publicized clashes during their marriages to him.
Amira, Jamal’s first wife, openly opposed his marriage to Amber Ray, even going as far as storming her residence one night, resulting in a dramatic confrontation streamed live on Instagram.
Both women eventually ended their relationships with Jamal, and Amber Ray moved on to a new chapter with Rapudo.
During his interview Dr Ofweneke, Rapudo passionately defended Amber, describing her as a misunderstood woman who had merely been caught in the wrong circumstances.
He credited himself with bringing out her true nature through love and understanding.
Jamal Rohosafi claps back
Jamal Rohosafi was quick to respond to Rapudo’s criticism, dismissing him as an insignificant figure seeking attention.
In a scathing Instagram story, Jamal dismissed Rapudo’s remarks, suggesting that a real man would not concern himself with another man’s past relationships.
“You think you are a better man? Dude, better men don’t talk about other men. It just shows how idle you are. It’s actually a waste of time for me to answer a grifter individual. Check my record; it speaks for itself,” Jamal wrote.
While Salasya believes Amber Ray is the common denominator in this dispute, others argue that both men are simply engaging in a public display of male ego.
As the drama continues to unfold, all eyes remain on the trio to see whether the tensions will subside or escalate further.
Whether Amber Ray will respond to Salasya’s remarks remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: this is a story far from over.
