Bahati gifts Diana 42-unit apartment in celebration of marriage anniversary
Socialite and reality TV star Diana Marua has been presented with gift number three, a 42-unit apartment in Ruiru, of the eight that her hubby, musician Kevin Bahati, has vowed to gift her as they mark their eighth marriage anniversary in style.
Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Diana shared that she couldn’t believe how her hubby was going all out to surprise her and revealed luxe details of the apartment.
She also shared a flat plan video of the house, which is yet to be completely built, revealing that once complete, it will boast amenities like a Jacuzzi, swimming pool, lifts, and a penthouse on its topmost floor.
“Diana B apartment under construction. Built with a lift, the top floor is a penthouse with a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool. Gift number three is now on YouTube, presented by my hubby Bahati Kenya. It can only be God,” she posted.
However, critics argue that this could be another PR stunt by Bahati and Diana Marua to promote a construction company prominently featured in a video shared by the two showcasing the apartment’s visual rendering.
Diana gets emotional
Bahati, who in a video shared on Diana’s YouTube channel noted that he will keep going the extra mile to impress his wife, did the unveiling of the gift at the location of the apartment in Ruiru.
It all started at their home before he drove Diana to the location, telling her that he was sure the gift he was about to surprise her with would blow her mind.
On getting there, he told her to close her eyes before he, alongside contractors who were on the scene, unveiled the flat plan of the house to her, leaving her emotional and jumping for joy.
The ‘Mama’ hitmaker couldn’t believe it, holding her mouth in awe as the contractors continued to break down the luxe features the apartment was set to have.
They announced to her that everything needed to kickstart the building was done, and they had already received approval from the county government with materials starting to be delivered.
They also blew her mind by telling her that it would have 42 houses and that she would pocket huge returns from the apartment, whose name will be Diana B Apartments.
“Chuma zinacome, excavation ilihappen. Lakini vile kulichimbwa, maji iliingia kwa excavation, saa tumekuwa tukichimba, and everything for Diana B Apartment is now ready. The project client is you, by the way. Lovely. Tuko kwa site. Hata ukiangalia hapa, hakuna keja kama hii. Later, we will show them how the 3D will look. The house will have a penthouse hapo juu. Ukiingia, ni lift.”
First two gifts
The big surprise comes after the socialite was gifted Ksh8 million as a teaser to the eight gifts she was set to receive.
The first one was a car for his father, and Diana expressed how grateful she was to Bahati for remembering her father, as he is her biggest treasure.
The gift was presented to him at their home after the father skipped a lunch invite where Bahati had planned to surprise him.
