Bahati to surprise Diana Marua with 8 gifts to mark their 8th anniversary
Kenyan singer Kevin Bahati has announced that he will be surprising his wife, Diana Marua with eight special gifts to celebrate their eighth marriage anniversary. This comes just days after he gifted her Ksh8 million on Valentine’s Day.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, February 17, 2025, Bahati shared his excitement about the upcoming surprises. He reminded fans of his previous extravagant gift, a Ksh18 million customized Range Rover Autobiography and teased whether he could outdo himself this time.
“My last gift to Diana was this 18 million customized Range Rover autobiography… will I be able to beat this record??? Gift no.1 goes live at 3 pm on @diana_marua YouTube channel 🔥🔥🔥 it’s time for 8 gifts to celebrate 8 years of love and it starts today!!!” Bahati wrote.
The musician revealed that the first of the eight gifts would be unveiled today at 3 pm on Diana Marua’s YouTube channel, setting the stage for a series of grand surprises in honour of their love journey.
Bahati and Diana have been one of Kenya’s most talked-about celebrity couples often showing off their lavish lifestyle. Their relationship has often been marked by lavish gifts and public declarations of love.
Valentine’s Day gift
Bahati gifted his wife Ksh8 million on Valentine’s Day.
On Friday, February 14, 2025, Bahati took to Instagram to share a video capturing the breathtaking moment at an exclusive venue, with a scenic dam.
As the couple enjoyed their intimate setup, Bahati pulled out a bag overflowing with bundles of cash and dramatically spilt the stacks onto the table beside Diana.
Savouring the moment, the singer told Diana that the money was just a teaser, hinting that even grander surprises were on the way.
“This is not even the gift; it’s just something small as I start planning the real surprises. This is Ksh5 million in cash, and I’ve wired you the remaining Ksh3 million via RTGS,” he disclosed.
7th annivesary
As part of their seventh-anniversary celebrations in October 2023, Bahati gifted Diana a brand-new Range Rover Vogue Autobiography.
“Hii gari iko moja tu Kenya. Yako tu pekee yake. This is a Range Rover Vogue Autobiography. This is the best model and these are your car keys,” he said as he presented her the gift
Leading up to their seventh anniversary on October 20, 2023, Bahati erected seven billboards in seven different counties, each featuring a photo of the couple.
“I just put up 7 billboards in seven counties just before I give my queen 7 gifts as we celebrate our seventh anniversary,” he announced.
In the same year, Bahati and Diana held a traditional wedding ceremony, known as a Ruracio. This event was part of a series of seven gifts Bahati planned for Diana, symbolizing their seven years together.
