Comedian Lawrence Macharia, popularly known as Terence Creative, has broken his silence on swirling claims of infidelity, responding directly to critics on social media while defending the strength of his marriage to fellow entertainer Milly Chebby.

Terence took to Instagram late Friday, February 21, 2025, to reaffirm his commitment to his wife, dismissing any notion that his marriage was on the rocks.

“Our marriage won’t last because of the good times; it will last because we handled the bad times with love, grace, and care,” Terence wrote.

His post immediately sparked a flood of reactions, with netizens flooding the comments with questions and accusations.

Cheating do inaitwa bad times?” Mulli Gladys asked.

Terence fired back, “Hapo KBC hawajakufunza kubehave like a corporate na uwache fununu zisizokuwa na udhabiti?”

Other comments ranged from criticism to unsolicited advice.

“Stick to her wacha kukula wengine papa,” Daniel Ochaga wrote.

Nani tena amekulwa, wapi na lini bro, unamjua ama?” Terence shot back.

Cheche za mtandaoni zinasema unapenda kula kuku za kienyeji sana,” Choge Allan accused.

Terence responded, “Kuna familia yenyu imekulwo?”

Another user, Otieri Brenda, remarked, “Sikuizi cheating imekuwa bad times, halafu huku kwengine wanasema ni up and down.”

“Jiongelele single lady,” Terence retorted.

Brax Brenda joined the fray, posting, “Lakini Terence nawe si you change jameni, we are tired of you all the time.”

We unamaanisha wewe na nani?” he responded.

Margy Wamwene added, “Naskia gari ili goganishwa juu akipata CDs.

Endelea kuskia, rudi uskize tena hadi uridhike,” Terence replied.

The cheating allegations started in December 2024 and intensified following an interview with Milele FM’s Ankali Ray.

During the segment, Ray confronted Terence with pointed questions:

“Is it true you are cheating on our in-law? That your wife comes to rescue you in Airbnbs while drunk with other women?” Ankali asked.

In response, Terence deflected: “What are they saying? Let them continue talking. When my time to speak comes, I will release a statement. For now, I have nothing to say. Let them talk. Let them say everything. Let me enjoy Christmas and my work. Just relax. When they say everything, it will be my turn. Some of these people want to make a career out of me. Even the president gives a press briefing during an emergency, and we will give a press briefing.”

Beyond defending his personal life, Terence also called on Kenyans to show empathy and refrain from wishing ill upon others.

“Pray for people. Pray for relationships. Don’t wish for people to split,” he urged. “When people are good, you guys don’t see them. Start seeing the good in people. Stop waiting for people to split to rejoice in that. You want all the marriages in Kenya to end?”
