Kindiki further stated that the government job creation strategy is structured like the proverbial three-legged stool; Kazi kwa Ground, Kazi Majuu and Kazi Mtandaoni, which he says will ensure that the jobs are created locally.

“The Government job creation strategy is structured like the proverbial three-legged stool; Kazi kwa Ground, Kazi Majuu and Kazi Mtandaoni. This approach ensures that jobs are created locally even as we actively engage in creating jobs online, and establishing an overseas workforce through the labour mobility program,” Kindiki said.

“To meet this aspiration, the Government recognises the need for structuring our training to meet the local demand for skilled and semi-skilled professionals, and the international market through labour mobility.”

Kindiki also assured that the implementation of the job creation promise by the Kenya Kwanza Administration is underway.

“The Government is focusing on vocational and technical education as a core strategic agenda to make our youth are not just employable but thrive in an increasingly competitive global market. The success stories achieved so far in this space, are living proof of what is possible when talent meets opportunity. Implementation of the job creation promise by the Kenya Kwanza Administration is underway. In less than two years, the Government has recruited and deployed 76,000 teachers and thousands of youths have been absorbed in the security agencies,” Kindiki stated.
