Dr. Terry Dubrow is in the process of figuring out Brandi Glanville’s mysterious health issue.
“I can tell you something, Brandi has been significantly affected by whatever this mysterious illness is and I’m trying to help her,” the plastic surgeon, 66, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Cure Addiction Now’s Inaugural Fundraising Evening on Monday, February 24. “We have some tests we’ve done that take a long time to figure out. In the next several weeks, we should have a better idea of what’s actually going on.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County husband Dubrow added that while Glanville, 52, has been “suffering” she’s also been “brave and tough.”
“People need to give her grace. She’s brave and tough and she’s going through a very difficult time,” he explains. “I tell her, because we text frequently, I see her ultimately, not too far away, hopefully on the other side of this.”
The Botched star added that he’s “committed to helping” Glanville and finally get her some answers.
“I think once we get a diagnosis and we get a treatment plan, that we can get on the other side of it,” he said.
Glanville previously shared that she was suffering from an undetermined skin condition. In a December 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed that she previously spent around $70,000 on medical tests and treatments.

“Honestly, I have so many doctors and I’ve had so many tests … I did lab work for $10,000,” she said. “I ran every test under the sun.”
Glanville shared that doctors told her “it could be a parasite” but Dubrow didn’t think that was the case.
“She has to figure out if there’s a microorganism in there,” Dubrow said in an interview with TMZ in December 2024. “It’s not going to be a parasite, it’s not going to be something she ate, it’s going to be from something that got into her bloodstream.”
Dubrow added to TMZ that he had concerns for Glanville’s wellbeing if she didn’t get answers ASAP.
“She’s like a ticking time bomb. Every minute that that microorganism is allowed to stay in her skin and do potential damage, she could suffer worse for it,” he said. “It could be more difficult to treat and she could form more scars and more nodules. So Brandi needs a diagnosis. She probably needs a surgical intervention to get a piece of tissue and figure out what’s going on.”
Dubrow then offered to help Glanville get a diagnosis — which she ultimately accepted. One month later, he performed four biopsies on her.
“Yes guys, @DrDubrow took 4 tiny biopsy’s [sic] from my face so we can continue to get better,” Glanville shared via X in January adding: “Ez pz no pain I was in and out on 30 minutes now we wait.”
