Gisele Bundchen Shows Off Her Bikini-Clad Baby Bump While on a Beach

Gisele Bündchen shared a glimpse of her growing baby bump as she and boyfriend Joaquim Valente prepare to welcome their first child together.

“Happiness is an inside job,” Bündchen, 44, captioned a post shared via Instagram on Wednesday, January 29. “Remember, you are the only one who has the power to create the life you want to live. 🙏.”

News broke in October 2024 that Bündchen and Valente, 37, were expecting their first baby together. (Bündchen is mom to son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, with ex-husband Tom Brady. She is also stepmother to Brady’s 17-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.)

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source told People at the time.

Days after the reveal of her pregnancy, Bündchen showed off her baby bump while enjoying a night out in Miami wearing the quintessential little black dress.

Bündchen was friends with the jiu-jitsu instructor for several years before their relationship turned romantic in summer 2023 — months after she and Brady, 47, called it quits.

“We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Brady wrote via Instagram in 2022, announcing his breakup from Bündchen after more than a decade of marriage. “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

After Bündchen and Brady split, an insider told Us Weekly that she grew closer with Valente. “Joaquim was there for Gisele through her divorce, as a friend, and they turned romantic this past summer,” a source told Us in February 2024, noting that Valente and Bündchen share “similar lifestyles,” including a commitment to prioritizing their health.

While the next step for Bündchen and Valente may be marriage, a source exclusively told Us in November 2024 that the pair are not in a rush to walk down the wedding aisle.

“They’re deeply committed to each other, but there are currently no plans for marriage,” the insider shared, noting that the couple “aren’t talking about marriage” right now. “They’re in love and happy. But right now, marriage is not on top of their to-do list.”

The source shared that Bündchen’s ex-husband is at peace with the news that she’s expanding her family.

“He wants to see her happy,” the insider said of Brady, noting that the former NFL player and Bündchen have been amicable since their split. “They maintain a coparenting relationship that’s solely focused on their children’s well-being.”

A separate source told Us in October 2024 that Brady was one of the first people to hear about Bündchen’s pregnancy.

“When Gisele told the kids about her pregnancy, she made sure to let Tom know as well,” the insider shared at the time. “This happened a few months ago. She wanted to give him that courtesy and knew the kids would tell him either way.”
