It turns out eight might not be enough for Alec Baldwin.
The actor, 66, shares seven kids with wife Hilaria Baldwin and is also father to daughter Ireland, 29, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger. Still, Hilaria, 41, says he wants more.
“He’s always asking me for more kids,” she told People in an interview published Thursday, February 13.
“Don’t judge me,” Alec replied, before adding, “I don’t really want one.”
The couple, who married in 2012, are already parents to Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and Marilu, 4, and Ilaria, 2. According to Alec, their youngest is hitting the age where he starts to think about another addition.
“Every now and then, when the baby gets older and grows up to be about 2, I look at [Hilaria] and I go, ‘Time to have another,’” he admitted.
Alec might not get his wish this time.

“They’re so cute,” Hilaria said, “But my body’s really tired.”
Alec also conceded that if they weren’t still raising a family, they could be enjoying time together — at home or on a yacht.
“I always joke with her and say, ‘You know where I should be right now, don’t you? We should be on Geffen’s yacht, drinking a cappuccino and reading a book, and having dinner with Spielberg or whatever,’” he said, while Hilaria interjected that the pair were instead changing diapers.
Fans will get to see Alec, Hilaria and their kids in the new TLC reality series The Baldwins, premiering Sunday, February 23.
“Telling your story is one thing, and showing your story is something else,” Hilaria said. “It felt authentic, it felt human. It felt very empowering.”
According to the trailer, the show will follow the family — including their six pets — through their everyday lives. It will also chronicle the fallout from the accidental fatal shooting of a cinematographer on the set of Alec’s film Rust in 2021.
Alec faced a potential 18 months in prison for the shooting, but a judge dismissed the case last July when Alec’s lawyers argued that the prosecution withheld evidence. (The actor previously denied he ever pulled the trigger on the prop gun.)
“Honestly, from the bottom of my soul, I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t have you and these kids,” Alec says in the trailer, referring to HIlaria.
“We had bad moments, but we found our foundation,” she adds.
Speaking to People, Alec again expressed his gratitude for his family.
“This is my reality,” he said. “I wouldn’t change anything,”
