Pochi la Biashara is a service for business owners, like food vendors, small kiosk owners, boda-boda operators, and secondhand clothes dealers, to separate their business and personal funds on their M-PESA line.
Who Can Use It:
- Available to Safaricom customers already registered with M-PESA on their SIM cards.
Benefits:
- Easy sign-up with no paperwork.
- Separate business and personal funds for better financial planning.
- Withdraw funds directly from the Pochi la Biashara account at an agent.
- Use the Lipa Na Pochi option to pay for goods and services directly from the Pochi account.
- Payments received cannot be reversed without the business owner’s approval.
- Sell airtime from the Pochi wallet and earn a 5% commission.
- Access mini statements showing recent transactions.

How to Sign Up:
- Dial *334# using your M-PESA registered line.
- Select “Pochi La Biashara.”
- Choose “Join Pochi” and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Select your Business Category from the menu.
Additional Information:
- Use your M-PESA PIN for Pochi la Biashara transactions.
- If you opt out, funds will move to your M-PESA account instantly.
