Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine Baumgartner and her fiancé, Josh Connor, are moving on — and moving out! — of their individual homes in California.
Baumgartner, 50, was renting a house in Santa Barbara for $40,000 per month during her divorce from Costner, 70, in 2023. According to online records via Zillow viewed by Us Weekly, the the posh property was listed 21 days ago and is now available for $45,000 a month. Every bit a SoCal oasis, the one-acre home comes complete with a wood-burning fireplace, French doors that lead out to a sundrenched patio, pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, bocce court and guest house.
Connor, meanwhile, has owned a five-bedroom property in the exclusive coastal enclave of Montecito that is also now on the market. Listed at just over $7 million on January 13, the five-bedroom home boasts A-list amenities, including a double sided fireplace, spa and loungers and is close to celebrity hotspots like the Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club and Rosewood Miramar Hotel.
Baumgartner and Connor’s new moves come shortly after they reportedly got engaged. News broke on January 26 that financier Connor, 49, proposed to Baumgartner.
The designer and Connor were first linked in 2023 around the same time that she filed for divorce from Costner. Baumgartner and the former Yellowstone star were married for two decades and share three children. Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of their breakup.
Connor is also a friend of Costner, who questioned whether Baumgartner was unfaithful while requesting copies of her finances. She denied the accusations, asserting in a legal response that she and Conner were only friends at the time.
“Respondent has no responsive documents for ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ in which he engaged because he engaged in none,” court documents obtained by Us in August 2023 read. Costner’s attorneys also noted that the actor “does not know for a fact if [Christine] engaged in any ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ before separation and, if so, whether she spent any of his money or charged any expenses in furtherance of her affair(s) on credit cards he paid.”
Baumgartner and Connor went public with their romance in January. A source exclusively told Us at the time that Connor had been Baumgartner’s “rock throughout the divorce ordeal.”
The now-exes — who share children Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14 — were locked in a messy back-and-forth battle over splitting assets and child support. They eventually settled the case in February 2024.
Costner, for his part, has since played coy about watching Baumgartner move on with Connor but has been more open about navigating the breakup itself.
“That’s a crushing moment,” he said on CBS Mornings in June 2024. “It hurt, but I go forward. “My children are looking at me, so I can’t wilt like a daisy. I have to go forward. I have to continue to be who I am and to keep a special eye on who they are.”
