President William Ruto has embarked on early and premature campaigns for the 2027 elections in the guise of uniting Kenyans, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said.

Kalonzo told Ruto that he should be aware that Kenya is more united than before to get rid of him in the next general election since he had displayed high levels of incompetence in running the country.

In a press conference at the Wiper Party headquarters after a National Executive Council meeting Wednesday, Kalonzo said that Ruto should be aware by now that citizens are not happy with the unpopular policies that he has come up with.

“Ruto should desist from moving around the country carrying out early campaigns yet citizens entrusted him with a responsibility which he has now proven that it is beyond his capability. He should be ready to go home in 2027 for failing Kenyans,” said Kalonzo.

The Wiper Party Leader said that that Ruto’s close allies were boasting that they will change the constitution to rule beyond 2032 and warned that it was impossible in Kenya since he is not even guaranteed a second term.

Kalonzo said that the President cannot purport to unite the country which is already united in anger against the failure in health and education systems while the  economy was dwindling yet the leadership in place was not ready to listen to the plight of citizens.

He said that when he takes over as President in 2027 his executive order number would be doing away with the housing levy which has raided the pockets of Kenyans yet citizens did not agree to the forced affordable housing project.

“We would like to caution Ruto’s allies from making warlike utterances, they need to be called out since the country cannot be led by fear and intimidation. They should be aware that they are dealing with enlightened citizens who will take them home in 2027,” said Kalonzo.

He said that the Wiper Party had decided to kick out Deputy Leader Farah Maalim over his insensitive remarks in which he has demeaned the mothers and youths of Kenya and that he was now free to join a party that will tolerate his unpatriotic utterances.

Kalonzo said some powerful individuals are behind plans to impeach Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya with Members of County Assembly promised Sh 5 million to carry out the exercise with those who agree being given a down payment of Sh 2 million with the balance to be settled once they are done.

He asked the government to stop wasting its resources in financing impeachments of leaders who are critical of the bad governance in the country saying that it does not help in any way in solving the challenges that citizens have been facing for the last two years.

“Many Kenyans do not know where the education system is headed to. Neither are they assured of the health system they are being told is the best yet it is not, this are the challenges the government should be addressing instead of sponsoring impeachments,” said Kalonzo.

President Ruto is currently on a five days development tour of Western Kenya which Kalonzo said that from the look of things was early campaigns for re-election yet he had not yet delivered on the many promises he made in 2022 . He wondered how he will convince Kenyans to support him.
