Last night, Tate McRae celebrated her third studio album So Close To What at her album release event at The Forum where 100% of the ticket proceeds will be going towards FireAid. Tate treated her fans with a performance of some new songs from her new album, including what she called two of her personal favorites “Revolving door” and “Greenlight.” Tate also debuted “bloodonmyhands” and played fan favorites “2 hands,” “Sports car” and “it’s ok I’m ok.” Fans got to enjoy food trucks, games, photo opps and also spotted at the event was Tate’s boyfriend The Kid LAROI who is featured on her album. Next month, Tate will embark on her global Miss Possesive Tour, spanning 80 dates across South America, Europe, UK and North America. The tour kicks off on March 18.
The 37th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro hosted by Laura Pausini, Thalia and Alejandra Espinoza took place last night in Miami. Shakira was the big winner of the evening who took home six awards. Will Smith performed his new song “First Love” with India Martinez and was joined by DJ Khaled and Thalia for a performance of his hit “Miami.” Pepe Aguilar and his children Leonardo and Ángela Aguilar performed an emotional tribute to pay tribute to Paquita la del Barrio. Other performers included Marc Anthony, Becky G, Prince Royce, El Alfa, Grupo Frontera, Alejandro Sanz, Manuel Turizo, Xavi, Danny Ocean and more.
This week, Lady Gaga broke the record for the largest monthly audience ever achieved by a female artist on Spotify, surpassing 123 million monthly listeners. The milestone comes as her latest single “Abracadabra” continues its ascent, debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs Chart. Gaga also revealed the track list for her new album MAYHEM out March 7.
The Roots and Live Nation Urban announced the return of Roots Picnic with a lineup that includes The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, D;Angelo, Meek Mill, GloRilla, Miguel, Tems, Jeezy, 2 Chainz and more. The two-day festival will take place in Philadelphia on May 31 and June 1.
Big Time Rush announced BIG TIME RUSH IN REAL LIFE WORLDWIDE where they will play every song from every episode of their hit Nickelodeon show. Fans will get to revisit their favorite moments from the show and Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman will also join the band as support on all tour dates. The tour will kick off July 9 and hit over 50 cities this year.
Selena Gomez, benny blanco and Gracie Abrams debuted a new song “Call Me When You Break Up” which is from Selena and benny’s highly anticipated first collaborative album I Said I Love You First out March 21.
