Selena Gomez made a subtle reference to her former relationships in her and fiancé Benny Blanco’s new song “Scared of Loving You.”

“If I broke your heart / Would you take me back? / If I broke my arm / Would you sign my cast?” Gomez, 32, sang in the first verse of the track that dropped on Thursday, February 13. “When I was young / I would love too fast / Hope I don’t repeat my past.”

Before finding love with Blanco, Gomez was romantically linked to several A-listers over the years. The singer dated Nick Jonas when they were both Disney Channel stars. She also had a short-lived romance with The Weeknd. Gomez was famously in an on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber from 2011 to 2018. The pair called it quits for good months before Bieber wed wife Hailey Bieber.

While Gomez admitted on her new song that she was nervous about making the same mistakes in her new romance, she shared that this time something felt different.
