Taylor Swift was grateful to have pal Brittany Mahomes by her side during the Kansas City Chiefs’ journey to Super Bowl LIX.
“There’s your man!” Brittany, 29, said to Swift, 35, as she pointed to Travis Kelce as he stood on stage alongside teammate Patrick Mahomes in a social media clip shared via fan account @tayvishaze on X from the Sunday, January 26, playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
After the Chiefs narrowly defeated the Bills during the AFC Championship, Kelce, 35 and Patrick, 29, accepted the Lamar Hunt trophy. As the football players received the award, Swift and Brittany celebrated the Chiefs’ victory on the field with the other members of Chiefs Kingdom.
While the women shared a big hug, Swift got sentimental about how thankful she was to have Brittany by her side during the Chiefs’ playoff run.

“You kept me so calm the last couple of weeks,” Swift gushed.
Swift and Brittany were joined by Travis’ mom Donna Kelce during the celebration. While watching Patrick and Travis on stage, Swift explained that Brittany helped her navigate the stressful moments.
“I did not know what to do,” Swift shared. “I was like, ‘Tell me it’s going to be OK.”
As the women huddled together, Brittany sighed and said, “What a game,” referring to the game’s close score of 32-29.
“My heart was in my throat,” Swift said to which Brittany agreed she was in a similar state while watching the game saying, “I was literally up there pumping, stressing.”
Swift, for her part, joked that at one point she felt the need to get “out” of Arrowhead Stadium due to the “crazy” back and forth between the Chiefs and Bills. While Swift may have felt she needed to leave the arena, she remained in her suite cheering on Travis and Chiefs alongside Donna and her mom, Andrea Swift.
After spending time with Brittany, Swift and Donna were reunited with Travis as they celebrated the big win. As Swift and Travis shared a sweet hug, Donna congratulated her son on the victory.
Brittany and Swift formed a friendship in 2023 after the Grammy winner started dating the Chiefs tight end. Over the past two seasons, the women have been by each other’s side as they cheer on their respective partners.

The pair’s connection also has grown strong outside of the football stadium. In addition to game day rituals, Brittany and Swift have gone out on other occasions including dinners with other friends and more.
When Brittany welcomed her and Patrick’s third child, daughter Golden, earlier this month, Swift gifted the Mahomes family a thoughtful item from her heart. A source told Us Weekly that the singer crafted a blanket for Golden.
“She makes a lot of things for the people she loves and cares about,” the insider said. “She makes sentimental gifts that are more of value to her than expensive gifts.”
