Teen Mom’s Catelynn Lowell says she’s hesitant to go under the knife for breast reduction surgery.
“I’ve definitely thought about it a lot,” Lowell, 32, shared on the Tuesday, February 18, episode of the “Cate & Ty Break It Down” podcast. “I’m just a sissy bitch [about getting cut open] and the pain afterward.”
Although her husband, Tyler Baltierra, reminded his wife that she’s more than strong after giving birth to four kids, Lowell said she is still apprehensive about the idea.
“But it’s weird,” she explained. “How come anytime I’ve had surgery, I end up with f—ing having anxiety after? [It’s a] weird thing.”
In addition to raising daughters Nova, 10, Vaeda, 5, and Rya, 3, Baltierra, 33, and Lowell also welcomed daughter Carly in 2009. They placed her for adoption and documented the moment on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant.
While Baltierra is more than confident his wife could handle the surgery, Lowell said she isn’t ready to get on board just yet.
“There is a cheer mom at my cheer place and she got a reduction,” Lowell pointed out. “She said it’s the best thing she’s ever done and she said recovery wasn’t that bad but I’m still scared and also they move your nipple and what if my nipple falls off? Sometimes they will cut your nipples off and replace them. … What if they have to move my nipples and I just end up as a nippleless titty girl?”

Audibly shocked by his wife’s words, Baltierra said he “will still love” his wife no matter what happens.
“I will cry,” Lowell shared before admitting, “I could be just talking out of my ass.”
In their new podcast, the reality TV stars are promising to share the ups, downs and everything in between of marriage, parenthood and personal growth. The weekly project also promises to deliver heartwarming moments, behind-the-scenes tea and a whole lot of love.
“We are actually helping people when you share the hard stuff and that’s what’s important to me,” Lowell said about sharing her life with millions of viewers. “I’ll always be authentic. I’ll always be real. I’ll never lie about things being filmed or talking about it and that’s the best way to live.”
Baltierra added, “I’m not one to put my own skeletons in my closet. The closet doors are open.”
Teen Mom: The Next Chapter airs on MTV Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
