The Bachelor season 29 contestant Dina Lipancu teased that her days standing up for Carolina Quixano may not last too long.
“When you defend the one person nobody else would … just to get played the next week,” Dina, 31, wrote over a Tuesday, February 18, TikTok.
In the video, Dina lip-synced to the viral audio, “Because you know in a moment, it could all boom.” Dina captioned the clip, “Your Honor I’d like to withdraw as counsel.”
Carolina, 29, has found herself in the middle of drama on Grant Ellis’ season 29 of The Bachelor. The issue came to a head on the Monday, February 17, episode when she was accused of seeming ungrateful for the time she spent with the lead. (Carolina had previously received a one-on-one date, while other remaining contestants have not yet received the coveted time with Grant, 31.)

After an exchange with Juliana Pasquarosa on the episode, Carolina was in tears — and seemed to receive little support from the other women. The drama carried over to the cocktail party, where Carolina defended having doubts in their relationship while talking with Grant. When Carolina returned to the group after her talk with Grant, Dina was the first one to stand up for her.
“You know what, I feel for Carolina. I think she’s misunderstood in a lot of ways. But at the end of the day, I think she wants to see and does see a future with Grant,” Dina explained in a confessional, before expressing her feelings to the group. “You were one of the early one-on-ones, as was Alexe Godin. And so you want to hold on to all of the moments. You want to hold onto the conversation and the connection that you think you had and you probably did have. And then it’s, like, taken away from you. So I feel you and I see you.”
Carolina appeared emotional at the exchange, grabbing Dina’s hand and replying, “I love you. And thank you for … I don’t think that a lot of people would … Oh, my God, I’m going to cry. I love you. … I really respect you and love you for that and thank you for seeing me.”
Dina wiped tears from her eyes as she replied, “I do see you. I see a lot of myself in you.”
Dina and Carolina’s friendship, however, appeared to end quickly. In a teaser for the Monday, February 24, episode, Dina appeared to vent her frustrations over Carolina in a confessional.
“Carolina is giving damsel in distress energy,” Dina said as a clip of Carolina sitting alone on a group date played. “She takes him away and they’re gone for the rest of the day.”

After the date, Dina seemed to confront Carolina over her actions. “Today when you decided to monopolize Grant’s time,” Dina said, to which Carolina replied, “I can’t account for the weather Gods.”
The twosome continued to hash out the drama. “You’re like, ‘I’m taking Grant and I’m gone,’” Dina said, to which Carolina replied, “But I did not take him.”
Carolina turned and walked away from the conversation, to which Dina said, “Are you gonna go talk to Grant? Because that would be crazy.” Carolina continued to walk up the stairs, holding out her hands as she said, “I guess I’m crazy and evil.”
Ahead of the episode airing, Carolina defended feeling unsure about Grant while reposting a video from the show where she was confronted by her fellow contestants. She wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, “God forbid you’re not sure about a man you’ve been on one date with.”
The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
