Garcelle Beauvais FIRES BACK After Kyle Richards Calls Her an ‘A**hole’
Garcelle Beauvais is firing back after Kyle Richards called her an “a**hole” following a comment Garcelle made about Kyle’s rumored relationship with singer Morgan Wade. The exchange took place during Erika Jayne’s Chuck E. Cheese event.
The drama unfolded earlier this week when Garcelle, 58, was seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills telling Kyle, 56, “If you want to be a lesbian, be a lesbian,” amid growing rumors that Kyle and Morgan, 30, might be more than just friends. Kyle, who appeared visibly uncomfortable, lashed out at Garcelle on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. Garcelle, however, maintains her stance, explaining that her comment was not meant to be malicious but rather supportive.
In response to Kyle’s reaction, Garcelle told TMZ, “I heard that. It’s so funny because we laughed about it afterward so for her to say that was pretty shady.” Garcelle went on to clarify that her comment wasn’t meant maliciously.
“I wasn’t saying it to be malicious. It was more about, we’re powerful women — we can be whatever we want to be,” Garcelle explained. “It wasn’t a dig. It was just, almost to inspire her to do whatever she wants to do.”
Looking back on the moment, Garcelle emphasized that she was simply trying to be supportive. “I don’t take it back,” she declared, standing firm on her position. The tension between the two castmates stems from the speculation about Kyle’s relationship with Morgan, which was fueled by scenes from the previous season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where Kyle was seen looking romantically at Morgan.
Even on the after show, Garcelle addressed her comment to Kyle Richards during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, where she was speaking with Sutton and Jennifer Tilly.
“We’re allowed to be who we are at this age,” Garcelle said, defending her remark. “You don’t have to worry so much about what other people think of us.”
She clarified that her intention was to encourage Kyle to live authentically without fear of judgment. Meanwhile, Kyle, on the After Show, claimed Garcelle never truly apologized for the remark, saying, “She just said, ‘I can’t believe I said that,’” to which Kyle replied, “I was just like, ‘Yeah.’”
Despite the backlash, it’s clear that both women are standing by their statements, and fans will have to wait and see how the drama plays out on the show.
