James Kennedy & Ally Lewber REFUSE to Split Despite His Domestic Violence Arrest!
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber are standing by each other’s side, refusing to call it quits even after his headline-making arrest.
“James and [Ally] are still living apart but haven’t broken up,” an insider told Us Weekly. “James has been super focused on self-improvement and his sobriety and doing well. He’s been attending a schedule of meetings and support and taking it very seriously.”
The source added that James has been channeling his energy into personal growth and creative pursuits. “He’s also been in the studio making music, working out, and spending time with good friends and his dog. He’s optimistic about the new year and really emphasizing his health and wellness.”
James’ arrest became a hot topic in December after a witness claimed to have seen him allegedly grab a woman and throw her to the ground. While neither James nor Ally confirmed that she was involved in the alleged incident, the arrest resulted in the DJ being released on a $20,000 bond.
Just hours before James Kennedy’s arrest, he and Ally Lewber attended Kathy Hilton’s extravagant Christmas party at her Bel-Air mansion, where his behavior reportedly raised eyebrows.
Sources say James was “in a mood” on the red carpet ahead of the soirée and refused to stop for interviews. “He ran off to get inside the party,” one insider shared, with a witness adding, “James sped across the carpet like he was trying to avoid everyone. The vibes were weird.”
Amid the media frenzy, Ally addressed the situation on social media. In an Instagram Story posted shortly after the arrest, she thanked supporters for their concern.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me,” she wrote. “I’m OK and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”
Meanwhile, James broke his silence on the arrest, sharing a statement on his Instagram Story: “I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum continued, “I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones.”
Acknowledging the challenges he’s faced, he added, “Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”
