‘RHOC’ Alum Braunwyn Windham-Burke Accused of Abusing Autistic Son by Ex-Husband Sean Burke!
Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s divorce drama is heating up as ex-husband Sean Burke makes shocking explosive allegations about her parenting.
Court documents obtained by DailyMail.com reveal that the exes, who both now reside in Nashville, are still navigating their contentious split. Among the claims, Sean has accused Braunwyn of mistreating their 11-year-old son, Curren, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder.
According to Sean, on August 14, he contacted the Franklin Police Department regarding a change of custody. During the incident, police allegedly “documented rug burns” on Curren, which Sean claims were caused by Braunwyn “dragging [him] from under the bed.”
Sean reported the alleged injury to the Department of Child Services, prompting an investigation. However, Braunwyn’s rep denied the allegations, stating, “After multiple interviews with the children, the allegations against Braunwyn were declared as unfounded. The health and safety of her children have always been and will continue to be her first priority.”
The couple’s seven children include Bella, 24; Rowan, 22; Jacob, 19; twins Caden and Curren, 11; Koa, 10; and Hazel, 6. Curren currently lives with his father, as Sean’s home provides the “routine, stability, and patience” Curren requires to address his special needs.
While Curren is “high-functioning,” the situation escalated when he hid under his bed at Braunwyn’s home and refused to come out. Braunwyn reportedly coaxed him out and took him to his adult sister’s home, but Sean alleges the child was injured in the process.
In response to Sean’s claims, Braunwyn believes his actions are an attempt to harass her. She has previously acknowledged the difficulties of their split, admitting, “Divorce is harder than getting sober.”
Meanwhile, Sean claims Curren told him a different version of events, alleging he was forcibly pulled from under the bed, resulting in “burn marks on both of his arms.” This isn’t the first time Braunwyn has faced criticism from within her own family.
Earlier this year, two of her adult children, Rowan and Jacob, publicly accused her of being an “abuser, liar, and manipulator.” Both have voiced their support for Sean, describing him as “the kindest, most amazing person.”
As tensions between Braunwyn and Sean continue to escalate, another custody hearing is scheduled for early next year. The judge is expected to review their parenting plan, with hopes of resolving the lingering issues. For now, it’s clear that this divorce saga is far from over.
