‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Star Jennifer Affleck Announces Pregnancy with Baby No. 3!
Jennifer Affleck is expecting baby number three with her husband, Zac Affleck! The couple, already parents to three-year-old daughter Nora and 19-month-old son Lucas, shared the exciting news that they’re adding another little one to the family.
Jennifer told PEOPLE, “I was a few days late, and while it was a surprise, we both had a feeling there was another baby waiting for us. We were very excited, there were a lot of emotions after a very crazy year!”
While the couple is waiting until the baby’s arrival to find out the sex, Jennifer has a strong feeling it’s a girl. “I’ve dreamed about this little girl for a while now, and I truly believe she’s the one I’m carrying,” she shared. Despite the joy, Jennifer admitted her first trimester wasn’t easy. “It was really challenging mentally and physically; I experienced all the symptoms – nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and mood swings,” she explained. “It’s definitely been chaotic, no doubt about it.”
Jennifer’s journey isn’t just about pregnancy—she’s also gearing up for the release of Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. After a season that had its fair share of challenges, Jennifer said filming the first season of the show took a toll not just on her marriage, but also her mental health.
“Season 1 took a toll, not only on my marriage but also on my mental health. There were many dark days,” she shared.
Despite this, she’s looking forward to sharing more of her story. “Filming can be incredibly mentally draining, and adding pregnancy along with all the challenges I faced this last season was a big challenge,” she said.
“This pregnancy has been the toughest.”
As for Season 2, Jennifer and Zac are both expected to return, much to fans’ excitement. And as she prepares for their new arrival, Jennifer is aiming for an unmedicated, natural birth.
“I hope for a happy and healthy delivery. I’m aiming for an unmedicated and natural birth, something I’ve been preparing for and working towards,” she said.
