Sister Wives fans think Robyn Brown whittled down Kody Brown, who no longer looks like the leader of any pack, never mind a patriarch, today on the TLC series.
Kody once told the viewers how he prided himself on having a wife who followed him. Robyn let him lead the family, and he gushed over that. But from where the viewers sit today, that ship sailed.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Gushed Over His Compliant Wife Robyn Brown
Kody Brown, who fancied himself as the patriarch of the Sister Wives brood, once made comparisons of his four wives. He compared his compliant wife Robyn Brown to the three wives who left him. He alluded to her willingness to let him lead, which he believed was how a wife should be.
However, after the last episode, it was easy for the viewers to see this was no longer the case. Now Kody seems to be the compliant one, grudgingly so, in their marriage.
Kody Wouldn’t Give Up His Ax
Papa Kody Brown made the rules and his Sister Wives family followed those rules. Well, that was when the original three wives made up the polygamous marriage.
But, today it is different. In the most recent episode, a window opened just enough for the Sister Wives fans to get a feel for Kody and Robyn’s family dynamics. Kody cut wood for a fire on Coyote Pass with Robyn, Ariella Brown, Solomon Brown, Breanna Brown, and Aurora Brown waiting close by.
Breanna wanted to use the axe and cut some wood. She asked Papa Brown, who seemed aggravated by the disruption. He told her she needed to wait until he cut the wood for the fire.
Then Robyn stepped in as Sister Wives fans suggested she didn’t like Kody’s answer to her daughter. Robyn then says, “Kody, I think it would be so cool to show this cute girl swinging the ax.” Kody repeats, “as soon as I cut the wood”. Then, in the next scene, Kody teaches Breanna how to use the ax.
Sister Wives: Robyn Pulls the Strings
Sister Wives fans watch the dynamics between Robyn Brown and Kody Brown this season. And, it could not be clearer for viewers. They see who runs the show… Robyn Brown.
Not only does Robyn appear to be in charge of the daily, mundane activities, but it looks like she’s got a handle on Coyote Pass. Especially whether they sell it or not. As Janelle Brown and Meri Brown discuss, it is not up to Kody and Robyn, as Meri and Janelle also own the property.
But Kody explains how Robyn is wishy-washy about parting ways with the land. She confirms this by what she says in her one-on-one time with the camera.
So, Sister Wives fans see Robyn knocking Kody down several notches from where he once stood as a patriarch. They also see an awful picture painted for Meri and Janelle. It looks like Robyn Brown has the final say about the property.
Viewers suggest Kody Brown’s compliant wife and her kids have taken over. Robyn Brown jumped when Breanna wanted to swing the ax. So, she then brought it to Kody, who jumped at his wife’s request.
For the Sister Wives fans, life before the big split at least gave Kody Brown some say in things. Instead, today, fans think his last wife is now a puppeteer, pulling his strings on the TLC series.
