Teddi Mellencamp CONFIRMS She’s Dating Again Amid Regrets Over Edwin Split!

Teddi Mellencamp is back on the dating scene just three months after filing for divorce from Edwin Arroyave, all while questioning if their split was a mistake and amid rumors of an alleged affair with a horse trainer.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared the news during the January 24 episode of her podcast Diamonds in the Rough, when her co-host, Erika Jayne, asked how the split had been affecting Teddi’s daily routine.

“What do you do on your days if you’re not with the kids?” Erika asked.

Teddi responded candidly, saying, “I pod every day, so I’m always working. And… It sounds crazy, but I’ve gone on a couple of dates. Yes.” Erika was taken aback, revealing she hadn’t gone on a date herself despite filing for divorce over four years ago.

Teddi later confirmed she had signed up for the dating app Hinge. “So this is pretty crazy,” she laughed, explaining that she initially thought the app was a joke. “I was like, ‘Why are only 28-year-olds reaching out to me? Like, why?’” Teddi soon realized her age had been listed too low. “I don’t need to be dating a 28-year-old. I mean, they’re hot, but I don’t need it.”

Despite her initial confusion with the app, Teddi’s experience led to a surprising connection. “There was somebody who messaged me and just complimented one of the photos and it was weird,” she explained.

“I recognized his face. I was like, ‘I know him.’ So, I let it sit for a couple of days.” Eventually, she reached out and asked, “By any chance did I meet you in 1999? Are you friends with the following people?” To her surprise, the man responded, confirming their shared history. “Yes, Teddi, I was wondering if you were going to remember.”

Teddi went on to reveal that she had met the man when she first moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19, but she kept further details of their past to herself.

When asked about the type of man she’s looking for, Teddi made it clear she has her non-negotiables. “I’m not really into a 9-to-5er, I would say,” she confessed.

“I don’t want somebody that’s like, ‘I’m going to the office every day and I’m there from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m.’ No, I want somebody that’s their own boss, who can come and go, there’s a little bit of freedom in their life.” She also admitted she’s not a fan of loud chewing or “mandals” (men’s sandals).
