The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week confirm Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) have a moment. It could change everything between them on Y&R. Plus, a double kidnapping shocks Genoa City. And Lily Winters tries to get secrets out of Damian Kane (Germain Rivers).
Chelsea and Adam live together on Y&R but she keeps denying she wants to be with him. But on the frustrating Valentine’s Day episode of Young & Restless, Adam had a big dream about who he really wants and where his heart lies. In his dream, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) showed up begging to reunite. And Adam said he was over her and wanted Chelsea.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman Works on Chelsea Lawson
The Y&R dream seemed to cement for Adam that his heart belongs to just one woman – and it’s not Sally. So, next week on Y&R, Chelsea and Adam sit down to a romantic dinner at their home. There’s wine, roses, and maybe some romance on the table. And, it’s just the two of them. Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) nowhere in sight.
And Adam Newman asks Chelsea who would’ve thought they’d be here like this. It’s not clear if Adam just means him and Chelsea being roommates. Or them sitting down to a romantic meal together. But Y&R spoilers say Chelsea agrees she would not have thought they’d be in this position.
After getting validation about his feelings in his Valentine’s dream, Adam needs to convince Chelsea that they can make this work. He needs her to trust he won’t break her heart again. The last time Adam let her down, Chelsea had a mental break and poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and framed Adam for it. So, her hesitation makes sense.
Sharon tells Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and others that she’s only in the house because of Connor. But Young and the Restless spoilers suggest she’ll open up to Adam soon and this reunion could be sparking before the end of February sweeps next week. I know Y&R fans are torn on this – but it seems to be heading that direction.
Y&R Spoilers Week Ahead: Lily Winters Grills Damian Kane
On Young & Restless, spoilers confess Damian Kane’s interested in Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Enough to keep him in town when he was determined to leave to get away from his mom Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford). And Damian already vowed he didn’t want to get to know his half-brother Nate Hastings. Lily Winters worries about Damian’s motives, and she has been for a while.
So, she got info on him from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). It turns out Damian got ownership of two big companies under dubious methods. And he’s tied closely to some mystery man who might be trouble. Lily and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) both warned Nate about Damian. But he won’t listen and wants to know his brother.
So, next week on Young and Restless, spoilers say Lily uses his interest in her to learn more. Damian’s interest in Lily is blatant and that’s how she gets him to open up. He thinks he stands a chance with her since they’re not blood-related. And he knows Lily’s pumping him for info. And Damian lets her if it means he can get her out on a date.
Lily tries to get answers from Damian and after he gives her some, he’s got a question. Y&R spoilers tell us Damian asks if Lily’s involved romantically with anyone. I can answer that. She’s single and has been for quite a while. So, maybe Lily will keep seeing Damian, if for no other reason than to keep an eye on him. She’ll protect Nate at all costs.
Two Ladies Kidnapped on The Young and the Restless – Who’s to Blame?
The really big Y&R spoiler for next week is the dual kidnapping. Already, Phyllis Summers’ two kids realize she’s MIA. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) haven’t seen their mom. She’s not answering calls, texts, or messages. Now, the week of Feb 24th, we’ve got the reveal of the second person kidnapped.
Next week on Young and the Restless, Daniel talks to several people about the two missing women. On hand are Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Nick Newman, Summer and also Detective Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). So, Daniel tells them not only is Phyllis missing, but Sharon Newman is also missing.
Never the smartest guy in the room, Nick calls it a coincidence but thinks it’s weird. Daniel asks why Sharon and Phyllis would go anywhere together. He reminds everyone that the women hate each other. That has Mariah asking what if one of them didn’t go willingly. Only one of the two would kidnap the other one.
The logical assumption is that Phyllis kidnapped Sharon for revenge. Because Phyllis told everyone she wanted Sharon to pay. And if the cops and courts didn’t get justice for her dumping Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) body and framing Daniel, then Phyllis would make sure Sharon paid. No doubt, Daniel and Summer will say their mom dropped her revenge plans,
They’ll say Phyllis let her anger at Sharon go and moved on with her life. But really, Red’s kids probably agree in private it’s possible that Phyllis went after Sharon. Initially, Chance may suspect Phyllis grabbed Sharon. But either way, Chance starts a search for them both. He can sort out who took whom and why later on Young and the Restless.
Ian Ward Snatched Phyllis & Sharon on Young & Restless
Spoilers confirm the CBS soap announced Ray Wise’s exit. But he’s not done yet. I was surprised Y&R killed off Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) in the first week of February sweeps. And then Ian Ward was shot dead not long after. But he’s not dead – he woke up in the ambulance and no one knows it. I suspect Phyllis does by now, though.
It’s likely that Young and the Restless wraps February sweeps by showing Ian’s not done yet. We’ll find out next week, but I suspect Ian has Phyllis and Sharon. There’s a lingering unfulfilled 2025 year-ahead preview spoiler from the showrunner about them being in a life-or-death situation together. And now they’re missing. It’s got to be Ian.
