In case you forgot, Taylor Swift brought a cheering squad with her to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs win the 2024 Super Bowl.
Swift, now 35, arrived at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium with pal Blake Lively, Ice Spice, Ashley Avignone and mom Andrea in tow. After settling into their suite, Lana Del Rey was spotted sitting in front while Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Teller, were positioned in the back.
The game also turned into a family affair for Swift and Kelce, who began dating in summer 2023, with her dad, Scott, and several members of his family — mom Donna, dad Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie — showing support. As the game progressed, A-listers like Paul McCartney stopped by the suite to greet the group.
Days later, Jason, now 37, recalled the chaos that ensued in that suite with several recognizable names hoping to meet Swift.
“To be honest, I didn’t watch [Usher’s halftime performance]. There was so much happening in the suite,” Jason recalled on a February 2024 episode of his and Travis’ “New Heights” podcast. “Turns out everybody wants to meet Taylor. [Shaquille O’Neal] came into the suite … I think it was my first really understanding of kinda some of the things she has to deal with.”
He continued, “There were so many star-studded people there, where it’s like, ‘Dude, everybody wants to come see her, but the suite’s only so big.’ It was overwhelming, to be honest with you, it was very overwhelming.”
Jason claimed that the “celebrity attendance at the game was pretty unreal,” adding that he talked to a “bunch of people” including Keegan Michael-Key. Travis, for his part, replied, “Vegas Super Bowl baby, the stars are out. Gotta love it, man. Taylor thrives in those situations. She’s been in them countless times in her life.”
Now, as the Chiefs hope for a history-making 3rd Super Bowl win in a row, Jason confirmed his and Travis’ family — and Swift — will be in attendance on Sunday, February 9. (The Chiefs, who won back-to-back Super Bowls in 2023 and 2024, will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.)
“I think everybody’s coming,” Jason told People in an interview published Tuesday, February 4. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends. I mean, Trav always travels, like, full.”
Jason noted that Travis, 35, always has “a bunch of his friends” at games even when he’s in “regular season mode,” adding, “He’s kept in touch much better with a lot of the people from our hometown. So there’s always a loaded contingency for the Kelces, wherever we’re at.”
